Fighting for Working Families in Nevada
As your representative in Carson City, I will fight for the working class and ensure that Nevada works for everyone—not just big corporations. I am committed to:
- Raising the minimum wage to at least $20.00 an hour so hard-working Nevadans can make a living wage and support their families.
- Lowering the cost of living by tackling skyrocketing housing costs, high utility bills, and everyday expenses that weigh on families.
- Fighting for universal healthcare so no Nevadan has to choose between paying for medicine and paying the rent.
- Investing in our students by increasing per-pupil funding for grade schools and expanding summer school programs, ensuring parents aren’t forced to cover extra costs. I support implementing state standards for education while ensuring consistent school start times across districts to provide stability for students and families
- Standing up to corporate greed by taking on price-gouging from big stores and holding them accountable.
- Protecting homeowners by challenging HOAs that unfairly raise fees without transparency.
- Strengthening utility regulations to stop NV Energy from raising rates while earning record profits year after year.
- Professional licenses for active members of the military Streamlining the process for military spouses to transfer professional licenses to Nevada without expensive re-certification fees.
I believe Nevada’s government should serve the people, not line the pockets of corporations. I will fight tirelessly to ensure working families have a fair shot, our communities thrive, and Nevada is a place where opportunity and justice go hand in hand.
